As Janet, George and Craig share a sweet lunch, their happy time is ended when Janet gets a call from her father informing her that he and Donna are engaged! Janet quickly pays the bill, grabs her son and hurries off to meet her father and celebrate his engagement. Before leaving though she and George share a flirtatious goodbye. As George leaves he encounters Tanya who reminds George that after this scheme of his is over she is done... she cannot believe they are bringing a child into this whole mess. George promises to let Tanya off the hook after this plot is finished but reminds her that as far as anyone knows... the child inside of her is and will forever be Winston Halcoyn's and shall never know that George Snyder is his real, biological father. Tanya then agrees, saying that at least Winston is a caring man. Karen patiently waits for a response from Arnold, he takes it in and tells his ex-wife that he would love to adopt Jake, and that he has seen him as his own son since they married. However, Arnold insists that they get Jake's approval first before they go ahead and file the paperwork. Karen is elated by Arnold's approval and hugs him... as Kurt walks in to speak to Karen about his day at work. He is quick to ask the both of them what is going on.
Candi returns home to an unhappy Jasper who demands to know where Candi was. She tells him that she went out for a walk but Jasper flies into a rage and accuses Candi of going off to see James and even sleeping with him! Candi then in turn becomes furious at her husband's accusation and tells him that he has no right to judge her! As the two continue to bicker, they wake a sleeping Vivi. The two then stop their fighting and tend to their young daughter. As Candi holds Vivi in her arms, Jasper apologizes and begins to have a mini-breakdown on their couch. Realizing that Jasper is dealing with the death of his father, the discovery of a lost sibling and the departure of his adoptive mother CAndi forgives him and apologizes as well. She places Vivi back in her crib and consoles her husband, telling him how much she loves him. Amanda then approaches James after his fight with Candi and introduces herself. James informs Amanda that he has heard stories about her. As Alexa returns with Sienna in the distance, Amanda spots the girls and pulls James into a kiss! However, James soon breaks from the kiss as his daughter approaches. Alexa then asks her father if they can go home as Sienna goes to meet Craig. James and Alexa walk off as Amanda smiles and returns to her own home.
Mae arrives at the hospital and Thea examines her, she deduces that Mae's amnesia is fading but for some reason is not dissolving completely. Thea concludes that it is recent events that have prompted Mae's memories to come rushing back to her but not sticking fully. Thea discharges Mae into Alicia's care. She then clocks out and heads home after a stressful day... ready to relax. Just then she is approached by a cop car.... Travis's! He offers to take Thea up on that coffee now... Thea then gets in the car and the two head over to Karen's. Alicia returns home after dropping Mae off and takes notice of the sunset. She then recieves a visit from Candi who informs her mother that she is going to Egypt! Alicia is taken a back by the news and tells Candi she and Jasper cannot just up and move. candi then explains that she is going there to find James's estranged wife, Bastet, with the hope of getting her to come here and reconcile with James. Alicia takes a quick disliking to the plan and tells her daughter that she is being foolish. Candi and Alicia then engage in an argument with Alicia swearing that this will only upset the already emotional Jasper and send them in opposite directions, threatening their marriage. Candi then makes a remark about her mother's numerous marriages and storms off.
As Aggie and Dorian break from their embrace. DeDe flies into a rage. she tells Dorian that she has been thinking lately and that she has decided that they need a break. To her surprise, Dorian does not contest the decision and tells DeDe he has been thinking the same thing... they have been dating since high school and need time to explore their options. Aggie then tells Dorian she needs to go but receives a cold stare down from DeDe. Winston and Mary Ann leave Karen's after their late lunch and walk through the upper hills of Sun-Crest Memorial Park. Winston then receives a phone call from one of his legal guys who informs him that Ms. Maycourt has regained custody of her sons Nathan and Eric. Mary Ann is elated by the news and hugs Winston who is equally overjoyed for Mary Ann. As the two move away fro their hug they gaze into each other's eyes and wind up sharing a tender kiss as the sun begins to set on Sun-Crest Point for another day. Saul and Donna share a glass of Champaign in celebration of their engagement. As Donna thinks about how she would love to have Chloe as her maid of honor... Janet arrives and throws her arms around Donna congratulating her, as Craig congratulates his grand-father. Janet in return tells them how excited she is for their nuptials.
Haley returns to the house, with Emma. As Haley heads upstairs to go to sleep, Emma informs her father that she found her sister in Franky's arms. Ralph then tells Emma to get some rest and that he has to finish planning tomorrows events. Emma goes upstairs to console her sister. The two then share a tender moment as they begin to cry over the loss of their mother. Ralph then flashes back to his and Sandra's quaint wedding day, sitting down on the couch his heart now ripped in two. As Cleo begins to ask Ray more questions about his past, he gets a call from Bart that he refuses to take and when Cleo asks about that, Mae returns home and informs her daughter about her fainting spell. Cleo then expresses concern for her mother and mentions calling Escobar and Isaac. Mae tells Cleo not to and just then has a brief flash back to her first kiss with Escobar, forcing her to sit down. Ray then makes his leave, telling Cleo he'll call her. Cleo then tends to her mother asking her what happened. Mae then mentions how her past may finally be catching up with her. Mae then tells Cleo how she is in love. When Cleo asks her with who... Mae tells her that she is in love with Kurt!!
