The next morning, Alicia is seen waiting anxiously by the door for Cassidy to arrive with the truth about Catherine and her reason's for being in town. Before Cassidy can arrive, Catherine wakes up and tells Alicia that she and William are getting married tonight! Alicia is seen trying to be happy for her sister but her desire to know the truth gets the best of her and she tells Catherine to take Candi out for breakfast. Catherine abliges with her sister's wishes and then John shows up again and tries to talk to his ex-wife, but only frusterates her more. Alicia throws John out but promises that they will have a talk but later. Mae then decides that she needs a new way to pay the bills and begins to look for a job. She tries to get an entry level job in journalism but is turned down. she then becomes desperate as the bills begin to pile up. she accepts a job as a Spa Receptionist. She throws herself into work and begins to put Escobar in the back of her mind. She is further distracted when Hank pays her visit.
William tells his Winston of his impendind nuptuals but His son tells him that neither him or the rest of his family will attend what they label as the "event." Rosanna is clearly upset because William seems to have found happiness again. She then expresses to her son that though William is an evil man he is still Winston's father and Derwood's grand-father and that they should go, if not for William at least the booze. Winston agrees as does Mona. Ralph and Lucia continue their romance and when Lucia is invited to William and Cathy's wedding she asks Ralph to go as his date, he agrees. When he comes home Ralph is suprised by William, who he has never spoken to. William talks to Ralph and apologizes for being an absent father. He then asks Ralph to be his best man. Ralph is shocked but accepts the offer. He doesn't know that William only asked him as part of a revenge plot against his family. Ralph then tells Daria, who expresses her concern, but is then invited to the wedding by Ralph and accepts saying it's a show she can't miss.
Ted then spends the day at home relaxing and getting ready for the wedding. He begins to talk to Reggie and Reggie reveals that when he was young he was confused and thought that he loved Catherine, she was beautiful, a woman and wanted to get married. However, he then realized that he was gay and fell in love with a co-woker, Harold Repel. He was the man that Catherine walked in on Reggie with. Reggie then shockes Ted by telling him that he fell in love with Harry but broke it off after the divorce and blamed him for hurting Catherine. Reggie then asks Ted if he could stay with him for a while longer while he looks for his own place in town, meaning he plans on staying in Sun-Crest Point. Ted allows him to stay a while longer. Escobar continues painting and painting and Lucia becomes increasingly concerned as he becomes isolated and weird. She tries to get her son to talk about his woes and problems only for him to begin shutting her out of his life as well, he continues painting.
After Breakfast, Candi meets up with Jasper who tells her that Hank went to see Mae down at the spa. She then invites him to be her date to her aunt's wedding and he agrees. Then detective Cassidy Free arrives to see Alicia and begins to reveal Catherine's history. Catherine did fall in love with Reggie when they were young. She was devoted and planned on having a family with him but, when she caught him and Harry her heart broke and she did a 180 and changed drastically. She became ruthless and it is revealed that Ted recognized her because she became a con-artist and she did re-marry to a man named Fred Werner, a elderly billionaire. After his mysterious death she inherited all his money, to his families opposition. She came back to Sun-Crest Point after learning about the Hacloyn Family. When Winston and Mona reconciled she set her sights in William, because the money she got from Fred ran out. Alicia thanks cassidy for her help, gets dressed and heads out to Halcoyn Hill to tryo and stop her sister.
The ceremony is about the begin, Winston learns that Ralph was sked to be the best man and tells his brother congratulations, but is clearly jealous that his father has begun to build some kind of relationship with Ralph. Mae arrives for the wedding, with Hank. Rosanna grets Daria and tries to belittle Catherine and Will but Daria begins to realize that Rosanna may hate but also love William still. Alicia arrives in a hurry and runs outside dragging Catherine with her and confronts her about everything and refuses to allow her to go through with the wedding. William then runs outside and learns everything. He is then embarassed as marrying Catherine was clearly part of his revenge plot. Cathy runs off. Rosanna, Winston and Mona are visibly happy. Alicia then expresses her sorriw to Ted that she had to do that to her sister. Ted then remarks how he loves Alicia and that he will turn the day around for her. He then asks her to marry him, since now there is a wedding all set up. Alicia accepts and she and Ted marry.
