Tricia du Gard (daughter) Tabitha Urschel (daughter)
Rupert Urschel is a sim in the town of Ribbon Heights. He holds a recurring status throughout the series and it's spin-off, Ribbon Heights 2.0.
Rupert first appears in the third set. He is entrusted to the care fo his uncle, Kline and then aunt, May after the death of his father, Kelvin. He gets along well with them but causes some issues whith try May as she is pregnant at the time. He later settles down and welcomes his cousin, Karina Urschel to the family. When Gladys Telfair returns to town she seems to take an interest in Rupert.
In the fourth set, Gladys's interst in him continues to persist. May quickly begins to notice then and observes closely and eventually tells Kline. Kline tells May that Rupert needs to keep his distance from Gladys. However, May continues to let them bond. Later when May demands answers, Gladys reveals that she was married to Kelvin and they had a son, Rupert, making her his missing mother. Her other ex-husband, Basil tries to kill them all but they escape.
In the fifth set, 5 years later, Rupert has begun living and being raised by Gladys. He is a teenager and as he begins to date Marnie Siddle, he also pushes Gladys back into dating. She then begins seeing, Blane Ruster, which ends badly. He and Marnie also endure their own relationship woes.
In the sixth set, Rupert and Marnie age into Young Adults and continue seeing each other. He is elated when he hears that Gladys and her new beau, Wilbur Kell are engaged. He stands up for them at their wedding. He is saddened when he learns that May and her un-born baby die. He says goodbye as his uncle, Kline and cousin, Karina leave town.
In the seventh set, Rupert and Marnie annouce that they are pregnant. However, they decide not to marry just yet. Gladys invites them to stay with her while theye xpect the baby, hopeful it will save her marriage, it doesn't. Rupert then catches on to Gladys's "pregnancy" scheme, but supports her choices. He and Marnie then tell their families they will be moving out of Ribbon Heights after the baby arrives. Gladys winds up with twin boys, Reed and Regan. Marnie then gives birth to a daughter, Tricia.
In the eight set, one month later, Rupert is staying in town a little bit longer as marnie and Tricia have already left. He comforst his mother after her divorce from Wilbur. He then leaves to join Marnie, who he has now married, and Tricia.
In the ninth set, 2 years later, Rupert has gained a new step-father as Gladys married, Beck Lillian, who is actually younger than Rupert. Rupert, Marnie and Tricia then return to Ribbon Heights. Marnie then becomes pregnant a second time. However, this time around her pregnancy causes her to become bitter and Rupert walks out on her. He attends the wedding of his uncle Kline and new aunt, Roberta.
In the tenth set, Rupert retursn to Marnie and they reconcile just as she gives birth to their second daughter, Tabitha.
In 2.0, 10 years later, Rupert and Marnie are now adults raising a child age Tabitha. Tricia has aged to young adulthood and is traveling the world with her uncle, Reed Lillian. He still maintains a recurring status.
Sets 1 & 2
Rupert, along with Marnie and Tabitha merely attend Neighborhood functions and are seen as background characters in the first set.
In the second set, when Rupert learns of Beck and Gladys separation he goes to see whats wrong but gets no answers. He is later told by Gladys that her secret and the cause for separation was that Adia Faison is her daughter. Rupert is shocked but comes to terms with it.
In the third set, Rupert welcomes his brother, Reed Lillian back from his trip. However, Reed tells him that Tricia won't be returning s she has married to a frenchman, Pierre du Gard. Rupert becomes upset with Reed as he did nothing to stop the wedding or even called him.
