Biography[]
Rebecca "Becca" Vitale (nee Thatcher, previously Heep) is a sim in the fictional series The Grass is Always Greener....
Season 1[]
Rebecca starts the series off by her arrival in Overlook Acres. She comes to town to have a fresh start after a bad break-up with her boyfriend. She quickly meets Eunice Arch, an elderly woman who is quite the real-estate broker. She helps Becca chose the house she decides to live in and introduces her to Sal Vitale, Ryan Foss, Marin Kessler, Nora Hall and, Phil Amherst. Becca finds it difficult to break her block and being painting again. She also develops an attraction to Sal, despite his romance with Marin. The two eventually begin an affair. Rebecca insists they be forward with MArin but, Sal's mother, Vita, arrives for a visit and delays their news. They are soon seen by Ryan who subtly tells Marin that something is going on. Marin then catches them in an embrace and ends her relationship with Sal but, vows revenge. Sal and Becca then decide to begin a relationship that seemingly is perfect... until Rebecca's dreaded ex-boyfriend, Jeff Rabbit shows up on her doorstep begging for her to take him back.
Season 2[]
In the second season, Rebecca tries to deal with Jeff's presence in her life with Sal. Though, Becca reassures Sal that nothing exists between her and Jeff, Rebecca finds herself jealous when Marin begins flirting with Jeff in attempt to sabotage Rebecca and Sal's relationship. Soon after this Rebecca and Jeff try to confront their feel but, wind up sharing a loving hug. She then decides that there is still something between her and Jeff and, breaks up with Sal. She and Jeff then confess that they still have feelings for one another and, decide to get back together. Shortly after their reunion, Rebecca begins to realize why she dumped Jeff in the first place, there is no spark between then and, Jeff is extremely boring. She then breaks up with Jeff again and, realizes she made a mistake with Sal, who has moved on to a girl named Renee. She then focuses on her work and, contemplates opening up her own gallery. She announces her plans to her friends, who admire the idea. Then, at Phil's wedding, Rebecca takes the opportunity to profess her love to Sal.
Season 3[]
In the third season, Rebecca and Sal have happily reunited and begin talking about the future, since they have been foolsih the last two years in regard to their relationship. After a series of extremely romantic dates, They decide to move in together. When Sal begins to talk about marriage with Rebecca, she becomes a little nervouse, un-sure if she is ready to be married. She talks it over with Nora and Geraldine. Once more, this tension causes Becca and Sal to drift apart but, they do not break up. Finally after some soul searching, rebecca realizes that she loves Sal and, she would love nothing more to be his wife. The following evening, Sal proposes and Rebecca happily accepts his offer of marriage. They then begin planning their wedding. Rebecca runs into some trouble when Sal's mother, Vita, returns for the wedding. They are quick to clash over the impending nuptuals but, Sal comes to Rebecca's defense and, Vita finally relents control over her son. Though she manages to get Rebecca to agree that if/when they have kids, they are to have Italian names.
Season 4[]
In the fourth season, Rebecca and Sal's wedding takes place in the opener but, their honeymoon is put on hold when Vita collapses at their reception and, dies soon afterwards. His mother's death causes Sal to close himself off, emotionally, from Rebecca. Becca goes to great lengths to brighten up Sal and, bring him out of his funk. Then, Rebecca learns that she is pregnant and, when she tells Sal, his depression disappears and, he perks up, excited about being a father. Then toruble strikes when Rebecca is accidentally electrocuted when she tries to fix one of Sal's repair objects. She manages to survive the horrific event but, begins to worry about the child she is carrying. This causes her to begin pestering Nora about pregnancy. This leads to Rebecca also reconciling with Marin, apologizing for always getting in the way of Marin's romantic pursuits. The two women forgive each other and, bond with Nora who informs Rebecca that she is lucky to have Sal because, being a single mother is difficult.
Season 5[]
- Season five jumps ahead 5 years.
In the fifth season, it is revealed that Rebecca later gave birth to a healthy baby boy and, together she and Sal named him Dominic, after the agreement Rebecca made with Vita before her death. However, during the time leap Rebecca and Sal decided to divorce after getting into a marital rut. The season begins with their divorce being made final and, the fall out of such an agreement. Rebecca maintains custody of Dominic. She then meets a man named Jeremy George who she tries to use in order to get over Sal. Sal notices and, this leads to them arguing a great deal. As a ways to invoke jealousy within Sal, Rebecca decides to actually pursue a relationship with Jeremy and, Jeremy soon falls in love with Rebecca. However, Rebecca admits to Nora, that she isn't sure that she loves Jeremy in return, especially so soon fter her divorce. Nora encourages Rebecca to break thinks off with Jeremy. Rebecca agrees to Noa's assesment. Yet, when she has dinner with Jeremy to end their relationship, he ends up proposing.
Season 6[]
In the sixth season, Rebecca, reluctantly, accepts Jeremy's proposal. Much to everyone's chargin, Sal though refuses to admit that Rebecaa's engagement bother him because he is worried it will make it look like he is not over Rebecca. Though he isnsists that he doesn't want Dominic around Jeremy, fearing that Dominic will bond more with Jeremy than with him. Rebecca is against this notion, leading Sal and Rebecca to going head to head over custody of their son. When Jeremy begins to plan their wedding, Becca frets trying to postpone the nuptuals at all costs. She tries to end the relationship time and time again but, Jeremy appears o happy and, informs Rebecca that she is the light of his life, he also states that he has come to love Dominic as his own son. As their custody battle begin separating their friends and those they love, Jeremy begins to notice that the reason Becca and Sal fight, is because they still love each other. Jeremy then calls off their engagement and, makes a scene telling Rebecca off and, saying she and Sal are still in love with one another.
Season 7[]
In the seventh season, Sal asks Rebecca if she still loves him. Un-aware that Sal still loves her as well, Rebecca denies it and, becomes adamanet to get over Sal, leading her to have a one-night-stand with a man named Kyle Sute. Alas, afterwards Kyle desires to prusue a relationship, then Becca admits to Kyle that she still loves her ex but wants to get over him, now. After she and Kyle end things, Rebecca meets a man named Timothy "Tim" Heep. Though Tim is younger than her, Rebecca falls in lust with him and, they embark upon a whirl-wind romance. This sends Sal into a state of panic, thinking that Rebecca actually no longer cares for him. After only two dates, Tim asks Rebecca to marry him and, thinking Tim may actually be the one for her, Rebecca accepts. They begin to plan a wedding that will occur in a matter of days. At her bachelorette party, Nora pulls Rebecca aside and tells her that she is being foolish about marrying Tim, knowing she still loves Sal. This places seeds of doubt in Becc'a mind about Tim. Ultimately though, Rebecca goes through with the wedding.
Season 8[]
In the eight season, after only being married to Tim for a mater of weeks, Rebecca asks for a divorce and, finally admits publically that she still loves Sal and, always has. Tim consents to the divorce but, tells Rebecca that he hates her for making him a fool. Then after the divorce goes through Rebecca confrotns Sal and, admits she still loves him. Finally getting stubborness out of the way, Sal too admits his love for Rebecca, leading them to finally reunite. They then decide to re-marry in a private ceremony that evening. Rebecca once more falls pregnant. She also decides to finally open up her art gallery, after putting it off for so many years. Sal supports the idea and, despite being pregnant. Rebecca then begins to worry about the baby, with her being so much older and, with the stress of opening up a gallery, she and Sal worry how it will effect the pregnancy. Finally, when the gallery's gala opening arrives, Rebecca goes into labor. She is rushed to the hospital, where she gives birth to a healthy baby girl. She and Sal named her Paola, once more keeping her promise to Vita.
Season 9[]
In the ninth season, Rebecca and Sal, find it difficult to be dealing with a teenager (Dominic) as well as an infant. this causes them again split on certain issues, Sal believes that Dominic should be given certain freedoms but, Rebecca worries he will fall into the wrong crowd and, if her past volatile relationship with Sal has affected Dominic's up-bringing. Rebecca and Sal also grow to dis-like Dominic's girlfriend, Dana Reddy. Eventually though Rebecca grows to tolerate Dana after she admits that her mother is dead and, that she finds Rebecca to be what she always wished in a mother. However, the complications of being an Elder and having an infant daughter, proves to be difficult both physically on Sal and Becca but, also socially in terms of funny looks they receive. Plus with both Sal and Rebecca working now, they worry about Paola's future. Then when Dominic apologizes for his erratic behavior and, admits that he loves his parents, Rebecca and Sal realize they have done a good job with kids and, dance the night away at Sara Hall's wedding.
